One of the main reasons waterfront property, which is some of the most valuable land in the world, remains undeveloped in many cases is because of the lack of sewer availability. Bio-Pure PWT systems are a superior cost-effective solution in these situations. For example, a 5000 GPD Bio-Pure PWT system housed in a 10'x40' container could adequately treat the volume of sewage wastewater treatment generated by a 100-unit hotel or a 20-unit residential development. Additionally, the reclaimed clean water from the system could be used for any number of non-potable uses, such as local landscape irrigation, water features, etc., which is a win-win for both the development and the environment.

Because Bio-PWT systems utilize an ‘activated-sludge batching process’ (read more about this treatment process on the ‘Technology’ page), these systems can be engineered for maximum operational efficiency. The lower installation cost (CAPEX), the smaller footprint, and the lower operational and maintenance cost (OPEX) are all significantly reduced compared to the more common flow-through systems utilized in most municipal wastewater treatment facilities. In addition to these factors, other positives are the ability to reclaim a higher quality of produced water, to reduce infrastructure cost by decentralizing wastewater treatment, and to scale Bio-Pure PWT systems to a broader range of site-specific treatment capacities. In addition, our Bio-Pure PWT systems are a better fit for managing sewage wastewater management under a private-utility business approach than flow-through systems that are not as scalable, tend to have higher CAPEX and OPEX, and do not produce as high a quality reclaimed water.
